I’m excited to announce that respected information technology (IT) analyst and networking pundit Zeus Kerravala has joined the WAN Speak stable of contributing writers.
Kerravala is one of the most frequently-quoted technology experts in business and technology trade press. He writes the “Network Intelligence” column for Network World and is a regular speaker at major industry events such as Interop and Enterprise Connect.
While contributing for this blog, Kerravala will provide analysis and perspective on a variety of hot topics and emerging IT trends that include software-defined networking (SDN), virtualization, and next-generation network management.
As the founder and principal analyst of ZK Research, Kerravala provides a mix of tactical advice to help his clients in the current business climate with long term strategic advice. He advises IT and network managers, technology vendors, and the financial community looking to invest in the companies that he covers.
Before starting ZK Research, Kerravala spent 10 years as an analyst at the Yankee Group, where he served as a senior vice president and distinguished research fellow, and was recognized as the firm’s most senior research analyst.
He currently resides in Westminster, MA with his wife Christine and six children. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics in Math from the University of Victoria, in British Columbia, Canada.
