SD-WAN Tech Featured at IP Expo and VMworld Europe

ip-expo-silver-peakFall is in the air, and that means the IP Expo and VMworld Europe conferences are right around the corner.

First up, IP Expo 2014 held this week, October 8 – 9, at the ExCel in London. IP Expo is billed as one of Europe’s leading cloud and IT infrastructure events. The event showcases exclusive content and senior-level insights from across the industry, as well as unveiling the latest developments in IT. The event merges 300+ exhibitors and 300+ seminars with CIOs, heads of IT and technology experts.

Silver Peak’s own Everett Dolgner, director of storage and replication product management, will be at the event presenting on:

  • “The journey to an efficient, secure, and redundant WAN” on Wednesday, October 8 at 1pm in the network management and optimisation theatre
  • “Move backup and disaster recovery to the cloud into the fast lane” on Thursday, October 9 at 1pm in the hybrid cloud and data portability theatre

The week after IP Expo, VMworld Europe will take place, October 14 – 16 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via in Barcelona. VMworld brings together thought leaders, subject matter experts, and IT professionals to immerse themselves in the latest in virtualization and cloud technology. The show is meant to help attendees realize value through VMware products, interactive sessions and networking opportunities with VMware ecosystem partners.

Silver Peak again will be exhibiting at both shows, and this time, will be showcasing our new Unity software defined wide area network (SD-WAN) overlay technology. At VMworld in particular, Silver Peak will be using our Unity WAN fabric to extend a customer’s US-based data center, based on VCE Vblock, to VMware vCloud Air in the UK. This demo will be shown in the Silver Peak booth, the VMware vCloud booth and during the VCE User Group presentation in the VCE booth.

Silver Peak Unity provides IT with the ability to monitor and control connectivity to the cloud while ensuring consistent performance for all enterprise applications, including Software as a Service (SaaS) applications. If you are planning to attend either of these events, please stop by the Silver Peak booths to learn how to:

  • Unite the enterprise WAN with the Internet and public cloud
  • Optimize all enterprise applications, including SaaS applications such as Office 365 and
  • Gain visibility and control into how your new cloud-driven network is being used
  • Make cloud-based backup and disaster recovery more reliable, secure and scalable

Hope to see you there.
