Silver Peak Ascends UK & Central European Market with Wick Hill Strategic Partnership

Today’s businesses face a number of challenges when it comes to accessing data. Their dependence upon large files, such as voice and video, reliance upon real-time access to data and the increasing centralization of that data are met with limited bandwidth and high traffic volume, which often lead to network congestion that results in packet loss, latency, and jitter. IT managers across the globe have their hands full dealing with a variety of limitations that come with Wide Area Networking.

To help spread its WAN Optimization solution to these issues, Silver Peak today proudly announced the appointment of Wick Hill as a value added distributor (VAD) for the United Kingdom (UK), Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.  Wick Hill will offer Silver Peak’s full range of physical and virtual WAN optimization appliances in a strategic partnership that targets areas with high-growth potential for value added resellers (VARs).

Wick Hill is an award-winning value-added distributor in Europe with a channel-only model and a specific focus on delivering market growth for its vendor and reseller partners. By adding Silver Peak’s data center class WAN optimization solutions to its growing portfolio, Wick Hill enables enterprises of all sizes to optimize their network quickly and easily while lowering ongoing telecommunications and infrastructure costs.  Silver Peak WAN optimization is a proven enabler of key business initiatives such as cloud computing, data center consolidation, disaster recovery, and unified communications.

Silver Peak is excited to be working with Wick Hill to address the WAN optimization opportunity in the UK and Central European markets, which further cements our presence in the EMEA arena.
